Sources informed Entertainment Weekly that Lucasfilm, which was just recently acquired by Disney, delivered treatments for "Star Wars: Episode VII" to a minimum of three filmmakers, consisting of Abrams, Brad Bird and Steven Spielberg. However Abrams, who directed the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot and is currently in post-production on its part two, "Star Trek into Darkness," says he will not be the one venturing into the Jedi world. "I have some original stuff I am working on next," he informed EW on Monday. He showed a comparable view in a recent interview with HollywoodLife.com.

"Look, 'Star Wars' is one of my favorite movies of all time," he said, including, "I frankly feel that - I almost feel that, in a weird way, the opportunity for whomever it is to direct that movie, it comes with the burden of being that kind of iconic movie and series.

Key:

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
